YOUR TASKS

  • Global Lead of Electrical Engineering also including Country Unit and Asset Development electrical engineering resources. 

  • Lead and manage the team performing the electrical engineering aspects of multiple utility scale PV and battery energy storage systems (BESS) projects connected to Medium Voltage and High Voltage Grids. 

  • Leading and growing the Electrical Engineering Team in alignment with the Head of Engineering and the Director EPC 

  • Ensure high quality PV, BESS and Substation Designs with respect to Electrical Engineering during Asset Development and Asset Realisation. 

  • Implement a philosophy of quality and assess risks through dedicated assessments to ensure conscious decision making.
    Oversee the design, specification, and optimization of electrical systems for utility-scale PV and BESS projects.

  • Perform and review detailed engineering documents from EPC contractors (including Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Layout Drawings, Equipment Specifications, Grid Connection Study/Interconnection Agreement, Protection studies, load flow studies, short circuit studies, reactive power study, etc.)

Job requirements

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

  • At least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, including at least 3 years in a management position.

  • Experience in planning and execution of utility-scale PV and/or BESS projects.

  • Business fluent in English, Romanian or Italian is a plus.

  • Experience in high voltage engineering, including transient behavior, load flow, short circuit studies, etc.

  • Strong understanding of grid requirements, norms and industry standards.

  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

For the advertised position, we offer a gross monthly salary starting at € 5,000 (for full-time employment) with the option of overpayment depending on qualifications and previous experience.
