YOUR TASKS
Responsibility for the operation of the large-scale battery storage systems (BESS systems) in Germany
Ensuring efficient and safe operation of the BESS facilities
Daily management of the operation and maintenance provider (O&M provider)
Technical interface to the optimiser and contact person for authorities
Provision of operational reports
Clarification of technical issues with O&M provider and other stakeholders
Support with improvements through reports, identification of optimisation areas
Contract management: ensuring that service providers fulfil their contractual obligations
Assist in analysing and documenting project data, including technical specifications and business assessment and performance
Job requirements
YOUR SKILLS
Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or chemistry, energy technology, mechatronics, mechanical or plant engineering
Understanding of the RfQ process and contract negotiations
Knowledge of the operation of BESS units
Knowledge of health and safety, fire suppression systems
Professional experience in the chemical industry, plant industry an advantage
Detail orientated with strong organisational and multitasking skills.
Proactive problem solver with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Electrical experience and switching authorisation
German language skills (min. C1) and good English language skills
Place of residence in Eastern Germany, ideally in Leipzig or Halle, Erfurt, Chemnitz, Magdeburg Dresden
Willingness to travel
