YOUR TASKS

  • Provision of support to the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions with respect to assuming a leading role regarding the day-to-day management of M&A projects as well as live M&A transactions

  • Support the identification and evaluation of acquisition and disposal opportunities as well as other internal M&A-related initiatives

  • Leading role in preparing acquisition or exit proposals for the CCE Investment Committee

  • Conducting and managing of due diligence processes with financial, tax, legal, technical and other advisors and the relevant internal departments both on the buy- and sell-side

  • Reviewing or preparing marketing and other transaction documents such as teasers, information memoranda, process letters, (non-)binding offers, MoUs and SPAs

  • Negotiation support in relation to live transactions including valuations and structuring as well as coordination with various departments within CCE (e.g. Finance, Legal, Asset Development and relevant Country Units)

  • Provision of assistance regarding the relationship management with respect to investors and external advisors (i.e. financial advisors, legal advisors, market and technical consultants) for the origination and management of transactions

  • Active collaboration with the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions and C-level executives in order to support the further development and implementation of the M&A strategy

Job requirements

YOUR COMPETENCIES

  • Successful completion of master's degree in Finance or Business Administration from a top-tier university – preferably with a specialisation in investment banking, corporate finance or similar

  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in M&A, ideally in the energy or renewable energy sector

  • Deep understanding of renewable energy business models and the overall renewable energy sector

  • Outstanding analytical and technical financial as well as financial modelling skills

  • Proven strong project management track record and excellent organisational skills

  • Solid pool of experiences with respect to M&A transaction documentation

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), presentation skills and solid negotiation skills

  • Fluent English language capabilities are essential, additional German, Italian and/or French language skills are considered a plus, but are not a must

  • Structured and efficient way of working, even under time pressure

  • Strong hands-on mentality, team spirit, and enthusiasm for working in a diverse cultural environment

For the advertised position, we offer a gross monthly salary starting at € 5,500,- (for full-time employment). Your salary will of course be based on your individual qualifications and professional experience relevant to the position. You can also expect attractive benefits.
